  Carino's used to be a favorite place to eat, but it had been a couple of years since we had visited one of these restaurants. Sadly, I have to report that the restaurant in North Little Rock just ain't what it used to be. The dishes seemed mediocre—lacking fresh and bold flavors. The service, although adequate was not the spirited and conscientious attention that it has been in the past. The Little Rock locations has closed and our experience echoed what many of our friends expressed about their dining experience here.

  Walked through the front door, no greeting, just a it'll be 30 minutes before we can be seated. 10 minutes goes by and they're calling our name to be seated!
  After being seated at our table, they bring out silverware and some small plates. Then, we just sit there.
  And sit there.
  And sit there. Still sitting.
  Finally someone comes over and takes our drink order. Then we just sit there. And sit there.
  Still sitting. Our drinks arrive and we place our food order. Long story short, the food took FOREVER to get to us! My father ordered a wine with his water, he had to ask for that again and it finally came. The salad was a little skimpy.
  When our food arrived, I asked for some crushed red pepper and she never came back with some. Didn't even return back to the table to ask how everything was. Service was by far the absolute worst I've ever had! First time eating at this place, and my last time!
  Hopefully this review will help with your decision not to eat here. If I could give zero stars, I would!
  I noticed one table getting their food and after sitting a while had to ask for silverware. Another table the guy got up and got his own napkins. Btw, that table of 7 ended up getting their entire bill comped because of how bad service was.
  Another lady got up to refill her own cup of soda.
  I can see a trend here! It wasn't until afterwards I decided to read other people's reviews and noticed that this place is consistent with their poor service.
  Either they are just lacking staff, or the manager there is having some major issues. None of the employees looked thrilled to be working there. Everyone seemed stressed. They didn't even have every table in use.
